It's about that time! JAM will field competitive teams in grades 1-8, boys & girls. Our Fall/Winter seasons run from mid-October through March. For more details on our seasons, see our about page.

Arrive no sooner than 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled session. Check in at the shed (708 Interstate Pkwy) when you arrive. Don't park in front of MojoVet or Leaf Bros. Bring your own basketball.

Can't make tryouts?
Coaches may be able to do an individual or small group tryout before or after group tryouts but this is based on availability.

JAM Spring/Summer Local/Regional Tryouts -
Thanks to the 300+ athletes that joined us!
Our Local/Regional teams will play primarily around the Des Moines metro from April - June/July with a handful of travel events to locations like Kansas City & Omaha. We will also consider some players for our NXT Pro Puma National boys teams.
Boys & Girls, Grades 3 - HS. Thursday 2/26 (Middle School) & Sunday 3/1 (HS Boys/Girls).

Current 3rd/4th Girls - 2/26 - 5:00-6:00 @ the Barn
Current 5th/6th/7th Girls* - 2/26 - 6:00-7:30 @ the Barn

Current 6th - 8th Boys* - 2/26 - 7:30-9:00 @ Hawk Nest
Sunday 3/1 - High School
Boys - UPDATE!
Current HS Boys (9th-11th) - 3/1 - 15U Boys 4-5 PM, 16U Boys - 5-6 PM.
*8th grade boys are also welcome to run this night as a makeup or 2nd opportunity.
Girls
Current 8th/HS (15U/9th) Girls - 3/1 - 6:00-7:30 @ the Barn. *7th grade girls are also welcome to run this night as a makeup or 2nd opportunity.

Boys Circuit Team Tryouts
Following up after our very successful inaugural year on the NXT Pro Puma Circuit, year 2 promises to be even bigger & better! The circuit allows for a high level of competition, exposure, & coverage for our teams & athletes with regional travel involved (4 events for Middle School/6 for High School).
